Old felt blisters where water and air get trapped under it, and splits where it has gone brittle at the laps and around the edges. Patching felt with more felt buys a season. We cut out the failed area or strip the covering, check the deck underneath and replace it in EPDM rubber or GRP fibreglass, so the repair outlasts the roof it is on.

Water that sits on a flat roof for days after rain finds every weak point. Ponding means the deck has sagged or the roof was laid without a fall. We lift the covering, replace soft boards, add firrings to put the fall back in and relay the covering so water runs to the gutter or outlet.

Most flat roof leaks are not in the middle of the roof. They are where the roof meets a wall, a rooflight or the edge trim, and the covering has pulled away or the flashing over it has failed. We redo the upstand in EPDM or GRP, refit the trim and dress new lead or a cover flashing over the top.
If the deck is firm and the fault is local, a repair is the right answer and we price it as one. If the boards are soft across the roof, a repair will not hold, and we show you the photographs and quote a full replacement through our flat roofing service instead. Garages have their own page: garage roof replacement.
Most flat roof repairs are done in a day. Replacing a section of soft deck adds a few hours.
Typical ranges are on our flat roof cost page.
Clear leaves from the roof and outlet each autumn and look for water sitting after rain. Ponding is the early warning.

I'm so glad I chose this company, first class service all round!
You would have to go a long way indeed to find such a brilliant, honest company, a company who deserves to go a long way and to be successful. Well done All Pro, I would not hesitate to recommend them!
If the deck underneath is firm and the fault is in one place, it can be repaired. If the boards are soft across the roof, it needs replacing. We check the deck and show you the photographs.
EPDM rubber or GRP fibreglass, depending on the roof. Both last far longer than another layer of felt.
The deck has sagged or the roof was laid without enough fall. We replace soft boards and add firrings so water runs off.
No. The flat roof inspection is free and there is no call-out charge.
Yes, on a local repair the failed felt is cut out and the area made good. Where most of the felt has gone, a full EPDM covering is the better spend.
Most are done in a day, including cutting out the failed area, making good the deck and re-covering it.
