Re-tiling
The old covering comes off, timbers get checked, and the roof is rebuilt with new battens, membrane and tile. Where the existing tiles are sound and you want to keep them, we strip, re-batten and re-lay the originals, which cuts the cost of the job.
Dry ridge and dry verge
Mortar ridges crack, let water in and blow off in a gale. We fix ridge and hip tiles mechanically with a dry system that is ventilated and does not rely on sand and cement holding for twenty years.
Tile repairs
Slipped, cracked and missing tiles replaced like for like, valleys cleared and re-laid, and the flashing checked while we are up there, because the tile is rarely the only thing that has gone.

Can you match my existing tiles?
Usually. Bring us a spare from the loft or we will take one off the roof and match it at the merchant. On discontinued patterns we will show you the nearest match before ordering.
What is dry ridge?
A mechanically fixed ridge that clamps each ridge tile to a batten with screws and a ventilated roll, instead of bedding it in mortar. It is what building regulations expect on new work now.
How many slipped tiles before I should worry?
One is a repair. A handful in the same storm is usually nail fatigue or failed clips and is worth a proper look, because more will follow.
