Photographs for the claim
Every bit of damage is photographed from the scaffold or the ladder before we touch it, with a written description of what failed. Insurers ask for exactly that, and it is the difference between a claim paid and a claim argued about.
Repaired, not patched
Once the claim is settled we put it back properly: new tiles bedded or clipped to spec, dry ridge instead of the mortar that blew off, new lead where the old has fatigued.

How we handle storm damage, step by step
- Triage on the phone. Who has water coming in and who has loose material over a path gets seen first.
- Make safe. Hanging tiles and ridges taken down, holes sheeted and weighted, gutters refixed if they are hanging off.
- Record the damage. Every point photographed before it is touched, with a written description for your insurer.
- Written quote. A schedule of the repair your insurer can work from, with nothing inflated.
- Permanent repair. New tiles clipped, dry ridge where mortar blew off and new lead where the old has fatigued.
