What we check before quoting
The loft from inside for daylight, damp and sagging timbers. The covering from outside for lifted, cracked and slipped units. Flashings, valleys, verges and the ridge. Gutters and fascias, because failed rainwater goods rot the roof edge first.

Over the years my Wife and I have had input from a few companies regarding our poor loft/roof ventilation. The money spent was a waste. Also we had received poor advice that we needed a new roof. Recently we started to have signs of mould and instantly wanted to nip it in the bud. So we thought we would try again to get some 'proper' advice. We met Dennis and we were very quickly reassured with a clear sensible and reasonable plan to tackle this. What impressed us the most was the extremly friendly approach, the open communication and the honesty. Also fitting us in when it was obvious they were very busy. The price of the job was amazing and there was some slight extra work which was discovered and completed at no extra cost. Brilliant. Thank you so much.

Great service from Dennis and his team. The guys turned up on time, got on with the job quickly and communicated with me clearly when they found the issue. They sorted it within a few hours, tidied up and left the back yard looking like nothing had happened. Would highly recommend but hopefully wont need their help again for a long time!

Common questions
How do I know if I need a new roof?
Daylight through the boards in the loft, damp patches after rain, sagging between the rafters, tiles on the lawn after wind, and mortar dropping out of the ridge are the usual signs. One of them on its own is often a repair. Three of them together usually is not.
Can you replace a roof in winter?
Yes. We strip in sections and sheet up each night, so the house is never left open. Heavy wind is what stops us, not cold.
Do you take the old roof away?
Yes, skip and disposal are in the price and the drive is swept before we leave.
